6/6/10 - Owned machine for 2 months. used so far for several embroideries - including lettering. Built in lettering allows 7 characters at a time. the usb port works great - have transferred all the picture designs i've done thus far (and 2 lettered designs made in a free digitizing program) - had to adjust top tension a little, but it did them just fine. seems easy to use so far. (I was a little confused about getting around in the menus or from screen to screen, and have sometimes had to 'start over again' b/c i quit instead of going back, but nothing major or overly annoying). (This was a replacement for the Bernette H79 - which was confusing and a waste of money - unless you only want to do the 40 designs included...The Janome is EASY to transfer designs to - in fact, i haven't used any built in designs yet on it) - just plug in the usb to the machine first so it can build the folders needed before you plug it into a computer to copy designs downloaded from online. sewvacdirect.com was fast, well priced, and I had no problems at all in the order. |

| This is my first embroidery machine and I LOVE IT!! I would recommend it to anyone that is beginning and wants a machine that is easy to use. I also have a Janome sewing machine and LOVE IT ALSO!! | |||
